Adventure Race - 27 January 2007 Dorchester |
Adventure Racing is a growing sport that many of our members are taking up. It’s a multi discipline sport where are minimum of two sports are undertaken during a race, including orienteering and navigation, cross-country running, mountain biking, paddling and climbing and related rope skills.
Leading Edge has several stars in the making. These include James Monypenny and Stuart Inchley who won the under 18’s Polaris Challenge last July and who will be looking for a high ranking in this Januarys Dynamic Adventure race. It will not be easy though as they will be taking on world class teams like Team Sleep Monster and Team Microsoft.
The Dynamic series is a great adventure race series to take part in. Run by some guys from Bournemouth the races are all in the south of England. There are two classes of race the Endurance event which is on Sat 27th and the Challenge event on Sun 28th Jan. The races are one day races and for more details and to enter see http://www.dynamicadventureracing.co.uk/
